September - Sunday 12th 2010
- Laser Station (suitable for over 6yrs)

September - Thursday 23rd 2010
- Safeguarding Training Meeting for Group, Diabetes UK Offices. The Venlaw, 349 Bath Street, Glasgow G2 4AA (disabled access available)
- Art Activities for the children 6.30pm - 9.00pm
October - Tuesday 5th 2010
- Question & Answer Session with Dr Ian Craigie in Yorkhill Cinema 7.30pm-9.00pm (Any specific questions you would like addressed please enclose with this letter) - the children will be participating in this event.
October - Thursday 28th 2010
- Fundraising Dance at Grand Ole Opry in Glasgow, 7.30pm-11.30pm Wearing Fancy Dress is Optional. (Prize for the best outfit) All the usual Fun, Raffles, Tombola & Main Raffle will be drawn on the night.
November - Sunday 14th 2010
- Ten Pin Bowling - for all ages
- Monkey Business - for under 12yrs. At Xscape, Braehead, 2.00pm to 4.00pm.
November - Sunday 21st 2010
- A fun Concert of Light Classical Music - At: St Margaret's Church 353/355 Kilmarnock Road, Newlands Glasgow, G43 2DS An evening of fun and light music for all, performed by Michael Bawtree and David Smith. David is a parent of one of the boys in our group. He has kindly organised this as a fundraiser for Yorkhill and the Glasgow Family Group. We would like to thank him for this. It's for all ages so please come along. 7.00pm - 9.00pm Refreshments Available.
December - Saturday 11th 2010
- Christmas Party Disco - at St Margaret's Church. 353/355 Kilmarnock Road, Newlands, Glasgow. G43 2DS 1.30pm - 4.30pm
December - Saturday 18th 2010
- Christmas Panto - at the Pavilion Theatre. The Magical Adventures of Robin Hood, starring Jim Davidson, Colin & Justin, Dean Park and many more. Good family fun for everyone. 1.30pm for 2.00pm start.
February - Tuesday, 8th 2011
- Talk given by Dietician's from Yorkhill - Diabetes UK Offices, The Venlaw, 349 Bath Street, Glasgow, G2 4AA (disabled access available) - 7.30pm-9.00pm Children are most welcome to join in with this.
February - Saturday 12th
& Sunday 13th 2011
- Bag Packing Fundraiser - at Morrison's in Bishopbriggs. A fantastic opportunity to raise awareness of Diabetes and also Funds for the group too. This could be done in shifts, please let us know when you can take part. From 9.30am Onwards
March - Sunday 13th 2011
- Go Karting - for our 12 - 15 year olds.
- Soft Play Area - for all the kids, at Scot kart. John Knox Street, Clydebank, G81 1NA 2.00pm - 4:30pm
April - Tuesday 19th 2011
- AGM and Quiz DVD Night - at Diabetes UK Offices, the address is: The Venlaw, 349 Bath Street, Glasgow, G2 4AA (disabled access available) - 7.30pm-9.00pm
May - Sunday 15th 2011
- Summer Family Outing - We are all off for a fantastic time at Loudon Castle Theme Park, Galston, KA4 8PE. The bus will leave around 9:30am Keep an eye on the web nearer the time for more details.
June - Saturday 11th 2011
- Fundraising Cycle around Millport - More details and costs nearer the time. As usual we will all meet at Largs for 9.15am and go over on the ferry together. Also the option of an overnight stay at Millport in The Watersports Centre. If anyone interested please let us know (to enable costing) waterproof clothing desirable. Further information will be posted regarding this.
