Welcome To Our Website

Aims of our Group:

• Provide support to children with Type 1 Diabetes and their parents/carers. 
• Provide opportunities for parents and children to meet and talk with each other.
• To arrange social events for children and parents/carers.
• Stimulate a greater understanding of Type 1 Diabetes, it's symptoms and control.
• Liaise with Diabetes specialists to share information and experiences.
• To encourage the local NHS trust to improve care for children with Diabetes.
• Support and encourage fundraising activities.

We organise social events to suit all age groups. As well as events to include siblings, parents and carers.

Our Membership is completely free and open to everyone. We are all "volunteers" who give our time freely for the group.
